So recently I created my own forum using phpbb, it's working pretty smoothly so far.
Unfortunately I had to transfer hosts due to traffic limits on the previous one. Here's the link if you wish to check it out: [link]
Feel free to give your input and suggestions. Thanks!

Hello Baron. I've been working on updating my theme [link] so have not tried yours yet ! I'll get there eventually. I had an idea for a new theme that uses circular ("pie") menu's. In a circular menu the route is shorter for the pointer to an option than in a traditional linear menu. Some games use circular menu's for this reason ... Battlefield 2 and others [link] I quote fancy replacing my start menu with something that actually looks good and is fun to use rather one big slab of linear menu.

Wow. Phew. Glad to find a fellow traveller then :).

What might you consider for making circular menu items ? For example take the Start Menu. I want to render each entry radially. That would also mean rendering fonts at an angle. Is xlabel capable of this ? I'm looking into all this ATM but I'm a bit bogged down in the various options.

Just make the icons, and when the user hovers over it they can see the names of the programs.
Thats how I'd do it anyway.
